On Wednesday 21st March 2012 the Shoe Wars iPhone application was withdrawn from purchase in Saudi Arabia merely a day after the up-to-date version of the overall game went live.

This decision was made following feedback that the female character’s jumping effect was considered “too sexual” and could cause cultural offence.

An altered version from the application is going to be obtainable in Saudi Arabia, in April without the objectionable content.
